Tudor Submariner Gilt Track Dial 7928 – 1966
The Tudor Submariner 7928 gilt track dial watch has continued to sharply rise in value over the last few years. Not surprising really considering the strong demand for gilt Rolex dialled watches and the much higher priced sister watch to this, the gilt Rolex 5513 submariner.
This Tudor sub really has a stunning dial. Completely mark free, the matte dial has faded to an exquisite deep grey and the perfect gilt track a beautiful deep gold. The silver writing and small rose are crystal clear. The hour plots have turned a lovely shade of dark yellow and the hands perfectly match.
Added to this one of the best cases I’ve ever seen on a Tudor 7928 and we really have something special.
Serviced by one of the leading Rolex independent watchmakers. A great watch for the serious Tudor collector that rarely becomes available in this condition.
Another one I will no doubt regret letting go!
