This stunning watch has the deepest, mirror like, mark free gloss dial you will ever see. With beautiful deep yellow hour plots and matching hands it is truly spectacular.

The watch was serviced by Rolex UK just over a year ago and is keeping excellent time.

An amazing one owner collector set – the watch was bought by a British Royal Navy officer on board HMS Lincoln through the NAAFI stores in February 1963. The watch comes with its original boxes, original guarantee booklet and the original chronometer certificate dated July 1962.

The watch is a 745k serial dating it to the beginning of 1962 and with a ii.62 stamped case back.

Comes on a folded link bracelet with only a little stretch and really is something to behold on the wrist.

A very special piece that would hold it’s own in even the best collections.

Dial & Hands: Stunning glossy gilt chapter ring exclamation dial with deep reflective gloss and crisp gilt writing. Deep yellow hour plots and matching hands.

Case & Caseback: Case had a light polish at Rolex during the last service so is free from major dings and scratches. Model and serial numbers are all clear between the lugs. Case back is stamped ii.62 with various service engravings.

Bracelet: Comes on a Rolex 7836 folded oyster bracelet with later replacement clasp.

Movement: Original non-hacking early Rolex 1560 movement serviced by Rolex UK in 2013 and is keeping very good time.

Box and Papers Full collector set the watch comes with original inner and outer boxes, original guarantee booklet and original chronometer certificate!
