Here we have a 1966 Rolex 5513 Submariner Gilt Dial for sale that wears its age with pride!

A 1.3m serial dates this watch to 1966 and the Rolex caseback is stamped 5513 and I.66, together with numerous service marks.

The case is FAT with the original bevel profile still quite visible even after 50 years of wear.

Gilt gloss dial that has aged nicely with some patina and yellow hour plots and matching hands.

Fat Font ‘long 5’ 60’s insert has a few minor marks but is very nice overall and matches the patina of the watch.

Comes on a 7206 rivet style bracelet with 80 endpieces that has been fully restored and is in amazing condition or can come on a choice of leather or nato straps.

If you are looking for a totally mint, like new, gilt 60’s submariner then this is not for you. However if you just love fat cased original watches that show they have lived and look even better for it, then this is a very nice vintage 5513 Submariner that you could wear everyday and not be constantly worried about getting it marked.
