Stunning One Owner 1970 Rolex Metres First Red Submariner 1680 Collector Set

Here we have an absolutely stunning Rolex Red Submariner reference 1680 with 2.2m serial from early 1970 and first sold in 1972.

This one owner watch comes with it’s original box, original guarantee book stamped by the authorised Rolex agent and the original matching purchase receipt!

In addition to this it comes with a more recent Rolex UK Service Guarantee and accompanying paperwork.

The watch itself is in wonderful collector grade quality with a mint mark 3 metres first red writing submariner dial with no chips or marks and perfect original lume plots and matching original lume hands. The bezel is sharp and retains it’s original fat font insert.

The case has been polished at service and has those wonderful ‘Bexley’ chamfered lugs that only Rolex UK seem to do so well.

The watch is wearing it’s original 9315 folded link bracelet in excellent condition with almost no stretch and is date stamped 1.71.

Red metres first submariners with original paperwork and receipts are extremely hard to find these days. Watches in this condition harder still.
