1979 / 1980 Rolex 5513 Maxi Dial Submariner – Full Collector Set

Here we have a very nice vintage 1979 Rolex 5513 Submariner with the Mk3 ‘lolipop’ Maxi Dial that every collector wants!!

This 6.1m serial watch was first sold in November 1980 and is stamped and dated by the selling Singapore Rolex Dealer and comes with the original Punched Guarantee Paper, Oyster shell outer box with slash card inner box, translation guide, Rolex Oyster booklet, 1980 Rolex Calendar card and a polishing cloth.

A lovely really fat case that has had only a light detail with thick lugs with brushed tops and mark free case sides.

The dial is free from any marks or chips to the minute markers with very clear print and creamy thin flat lume typical to these late 70’s/early 80’s sports Rolex. The fat font bezel insert in nice condition with only a couple of small marks that are not particularly noticeable on the wrist and the bezel is nice and sharp for it’s age.

Comes on it’s original 1979 dated 93150 Oyster fliplock bracelet with 580 end pieces and some stretch.

Service history unknown but is keeping good time.

The watch is now fitted with a superdome crystal (not shown in the pics below) for maximum plot look!
