Superb Rolex 16660 Matte Dial Seadweller

Here we have a superb 1983 Rolex 16660 matte dialed Seadweller with stunning grey dial and matching faded insert!

This 8.2m serial watch is in wonderful condition with a thick fat case having benefited from a spa and light polish full service at Rolex UK in 2013. Obviously it also comes with their International Rolex Service Guarantee card and service box.

The correct Mk2 dial on this watch is superb, chip and mark free it has turned a wonderful deep grey shade with creamy contrasting lume to the hour plots and hands.

Case is unmarked and the watch retains it’s original bezel insert with wonderful tritium pip that has turned the typical orange/brown as seen on a lot of these models. Correct Mk2 16660 case back in really nice condition also.

The watch benefits from a brand new 93250 solid end link Rolex Oyster bracelet and with a mark free crystal and the backing of the recent Rolex UK service means this is a vintage piece that really could be worn daily without concern.

Matte dial 16660’s are rare watches having only been manufactured for a very short period during a transitional period for Rolex at the beginning of the 1980’s. They are becoming sought after by collectors and getting very very hard to find in this condition.
