Here we have a Military Rolex Submariner 5513 Milsub For Sale.

They don’t get much rarer than this!! Probably the most sought after Rolex by collectors worldwide and the most unique Submariner ever produced by Rolex.

The Rolex Military Submariner, or milsub as it has become known, is coveted by owners and the holy grail to most Rolex collectors. These watches were issued with either Rolex 5513 or Rolex 5517 cases.

It’s unique features of military designated T dial, sword hands, 60 minute bezel insert, fixed lug bars, non reflective case and military engravings to caseback set this watch apart from any other submariner before or after it. Contractually supplied to the British Ministry of Defence mainly for use by the Navy submariners and their leading divers and mine-clearance personnel.

Of the original 1200 estimated watches produced it is thought that perhaps a maximum of 10%, perhaps less, survive today.

The majority of these are 0552 issued ‘Navy’ watches and with a much smaller number of W10 issued watches, supplied to the Army, and likely used by the SAS.

Dial & Hands: 100% perfect military “T” dial with correct “sword hands” and 60 minute bezel insert.

Case & Caseback: 3.7m serial with all numbers clear between the lugs. Perfect non reflective case that is correctly stamped 72, 5513 and with the all important matching serial number of the watch inside the caseback. Fixed lug bars in excellent condition. Caseback is engraved with W10 issue number and number and year of issue.

Movement: Original serviced hacking 1520 movement in excellent condition.

Bracelet: Watch comes with both a black Rolex issued nato strap and a brand new grey Admiralty Rolex issued nato strap.

Box & Papers: The watch has the all important letter from Henry Hudson of Rolex UK confirming authenticity and the date the watch was issued to the British Army.
