The iconic date submariner comes in no more prestigious look than that of the early Rolex red submariner.

A 3m serial number dates this watch to 1972 and the inner caseback is stamped iv72 also to confirm this.

The dial is in wonderful condition with lovely creamy hour plots and matching hands and insert pip/pearl.

A lovely clean case free from dings and scratches and a tight later 93150 bracelet to keep this piece firmly on your wrist!

All in all a very nice red submariner that ticks all the boxes.

Dial & Hands: Beautiful Rolex 1680 red feet first ‘open 6’ dial with beautiful yellow plots and matching original tritium Rolex hands. Matching faded insert with matching tritium yellow pearl.

Case & Caseback: Strong case free from blemishes and dings. Rolex caseback correctly stamped with year, quarter and model numbers. Serial numbers clearly visible between the lugs.

Bracelet: Is currently wearing a very nice correct Rolex 93150 bracelet that is tight and with little stretch.

Movement: Original non-hacking Rolex 1570 movement keeping good time. Original open 6’s silver date wheel.
