Vintage Rolex GMT Master 1675 For Sale 1960 – PCG Gilt Track Dial

Here we have one of the rarest and earliest of the Rolex 1675 GMT Master.

Collectors really seek out the early pointed crown guards models and so to get one with this dial configuration with such a beautiful early gilt track dial is extra special.

This 500k serial Rolex GMT Master watch from early 1960 has the correct small GMT 1675 hand, pointed crown guards, ii60 stamped inner case back and vintage Rolex gilt ‘track’ dial.

The gloss is deep and perfect with only the slightest of rubbing marks around the central hands position that is barely even visible on the wrist. The gilt writing is a striking gold and as sharp as it could be.

The minute track markers are all perfect and the hour plots have the most beautiful yellow tone to them with perfect matching hands.

Any very early Rolex GMT Master 1675 is extremely hard to find and in this condition harder still!

Vintage Rolex GMT Master 1675 – Rare Pointed Crown Guard / Gilt Track Dial – 1960

Dial & Hands: The gloss is deep and perfect with only the slightest rub mark around central hands point. The gilt writing is a striking gold and as sharp as it could be. The minute track markers are all prefect and the hour plots have the most beautiful yellow tone to them. Hands have perfect matching tritium tone to the dial plots and are in great condition. Obviously it has the correct small Rolex GMT hour hand.

Case & Caseback: The case on this is FAT. The lugs are thick and the pointed crown guards are nice and fat also. Rolex caseback correctly stamped ii60. Serial number and model number are clear and readable between both sets of lugs. Can come on an all black fat font insert or faded fat font pepsi insert.

Bracelet: The bracelet is a later one replaced at service but a correct GMT Rolex 7836 folded link bracelet with Rolex 380 end pieces and in good condition. Can come on the leather strap shown in the pictures if preferred.

Movement: The watch is keeping good time but service history is not known.
