This really is a stunner with the best dial and case I have seen on a Tudor 7159 Monte Carlo Chronograph. It would be fair to say that this watch has spent considerably more time in it’s box than it has on anyone’s wrist!

The Tudor 7159 dials of this period are known to ‘spot’ and decay but this one is just perfect. In addition the bezels get quite worn from use but again this is just perfect. The only negative on this watch is that one of the pushers has had a service replacement – but this is easy to rectify.

Dial & Hands: Beautiful grey Tudor 7159 chronograph dial with black sub dials, perfect white tritium markers, date at 6 position and excellent matching Tudor chronograph hands.

Case & Caseback: 770k serial correct to 1972 with all numbers clearly readable between the lugs. Correctly stamped Rolex caseback with i72 date. Fat lugs, unpolished case and with fixed bezel in excellent condition.

Bracelet: Comes on an original Rolex oyster bracelet.

Movement: Original manual wind Valjoux Calibre 234, 17 ruby movement.

Box & Papers: Comes with original rare stripe box, original papers, wallet & booklet, original polishing cloth in original jewelers bag!
