Here we have a Tudor 7159/0 Monte Carlo Chronograph For Sale from 1974.

The Tudor Monte Carlo Chronographs are rare pieces to find in excellent condition.

So to find two in one month is quite some achievement!

This one however has been back to me twice already and so I knew it really was one of the best.

The Tudor 7159 dials of this period are known to ‘spot’ and decay but this one is extremely good with none of these marks. In addition the bezels get quite worn from use also, but this one is in really nice condition.

An 820k serial dating the watch to circa 1974 the case on this is very fat with original bevels still visible and all numbers between the lugs very clear.

Dial & Hands: Beautiful grey Tudor 7159 chronograph dial with black sub dials, perfect white tritium markers, date at 6 position and excellent matching Tudor chronograph hands.

Case & Caseback: 820k serial correct to 1974 with all numbers clearly readable between the lugs. Correctly stamped Rolex caseback. Fat lugs and with fixed bezel in very good condition.

Bracelet: Comes on an original Rolex 7836 bracelet with 380 end pieces.

Movement: Original manual wind Valjoux Calibre 234, 17 ruby movement.

Box & Papers: No box and papers.
