This watch has beautiful all round patina, crowned off by a superb grey faded fat font insert.
The flat black/dark grey matte dial is something special with its deep creamy yellow markers and matching hands.
The Rolex red Submariner text is deep in colour on the open 6’s mark 4 dial.
A great unpolished case with original beveled lugs and tight bracelet.

Vintage Rolex Red Submariner 1680 For Sale 1972
Dial & Hands: This piece has the most stunning unmarked Rolex 1680 red dial with beautiful deep cream plots and matching original tritium Rolex hands.
Case & Caseback: A correct 3.2m serial Rolex 1680 Submariner case in excellent condition with nice fat lugs and retaining the original beveled edges. Rolex caseback correctly stamped with year and model. Serial numbers clearly visible between the lugs.
Bracelet: Comes on its original Rolex 9315 bracelet with correct Rolex 280 end pieces or the 93150/580 shown in the photographs.
Movement: Original hacking Rolex 1570 movement keeping great time.
