Vintage Omega Speedmaster Chronograph 145.002 Moon Watch

This Omega Speedmaster Chronograph is an extremely rare find. A one owner watch that came with all original boxes, booklets and stamped and dated guarantee from 1972.

Pretty rare? Well for me even rarer still….it was sold the day I was born! Many people search for their perfect birth year watch, not many find full sets from the day they were born! I could spend the rest of my life looking for another…pretty unlikely I’d find one, nor as good as this iconic watch.

The Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch is probably one of the most iconic watches in the world still in production today…50+ years from original production. Its place in history will always be secure having been the watch chosen by NASSA for space missions in the 60’s and subsequently becoming the first watch worn on the moon.

This example is classed as the ‘moon watch’ being made post moon landings and wearing the Omega caseback stating “Flight qualified by NASSA for all manned space missions. The first watch worn on the moon”.

Dial & Hands: Stepped Omega dial in perfect condition with correct printed Omega logo and tritium hour markers that have turned a beautiful yellow. Original matching hands.

Case & Caseback: Excellent unpolished Omega case with moon watch engravings to case back.

Bracelet: Rare original Omega 1175 bracelet in great condition with very little stretch and secure Omega detailed clasp.

Movement: Original famed Omega 861 hand wind movement working as it should.

Box & Papers: Extremely rare full package watch including Omega boxes, Omega booklets, Omega paperwork and stamped Omega guarantee.
