Tropical Rolex Red Submariner 1680 mk3 from 1970 first sold in the UK in 1971.
In 25 years of collecting this is easily the best tropical red metres first submariner I have ever seen or owned….and I have had a LOT of them!
Bought from the original diver owner and with a letter of provenance on his dive history this watch has the most perfect tropical brown dial you will ever see and with perfect lume plots. The case is superb having been serviced by Rolex Bexley back in the day and it comes on it’s original 9315 dated bracelet and with all of it’s original box, papers and booklets.
When the sun shines this watch is really something else. Once in a lifetime opportunity, probably should not be up for sale!
