Description

Here we have a fantastic Royal Marines issued British Military CWC dive watch from 1997.

The Cabot Watch Company was founded in 1972 and ever since has provided the British Military with issued timepieces varying from chronographs to dive watches utilising both automatic and quartz movements. They still supply watches to the Special Forces units today.

This watch from my own personal collection has a fantastic T circle dial with yellow tritium ‘big triangle’ 3/6/9 dial with matching hands and a beautiful grey charcoal bezel.

The case appears unpolished and has perfect straight fixed bars and uni directional ratchet bezel. The screw down crown secures tightly.

Case back is engraved with the Royal Marines issue number 0555 / 6645-99 7573314 together with the British Government ‘broad arrow’ property symbol and the watch issue number and year.

The crystal has a few light scratches, but I’ve left them as I like military patina and its how it came to me. You cant really see them when it’s on your wrist and it’s just because of the angles I’ve taken the photos at that highlight them.

The watch has been serviced and is working correctly.

Love it on the grey nato strap!
