Here we have a stunning vintage 1950’s Rolex Oysterdate Precision, with the rare roulette date wheel, that has recently had a very light restoration and service to bring it back to the condition you see it in now.

With a 224k serial number case, clearly visible between the case lugs, the watch dates to 1956 and comes on a full length original folded link Rolex rivet bracelet that will fit wrists up to 7.5″ with a strong clasp and little stretch for a bracelet of this age. The bracelet could also be changed to a leather strap very quickly and easily.

The case is in lovely condition with polished sides/bezel and brushed lug tops and a polished bezel with a newly fitted crystal that now clearly shows off the beautiful original dial that has gone a highly desirable tropical shade with natural patina from over 60 years.

This original piece has just been serviced so winds smoothly and keeps good time.

The 34.5mm case (36mm including crown) is a lovely size for those not with giant wrists and comes in a genuine Rolex suede presentation pouch.
