1975 Rolex GMT Master 1675

Here we have a really nice vintage 1975 Rolex GMT Master 1675 for sale with 5m serial dating it to late 1975.

A beautiful Rolex 1675 with correct matte dial, creamy yellow tritium plots and matching tritium hands.

Thick case with very nice thick crown guards and lugs.

One of the things I really like about matte dial 1675 GMTs is that you can completely change the look in a matter of minutes, because of the different options that were available to it at the time, yet keep it correct with original Rolex parts.

That means you can personalise your watch and create that perfect look to your tastes from the outset.

Or you can change it to look totally different fairly regularly without having to buy 3 or 4 different watches!

Swap the faded “Pepsi” insert for a non faded one and you quickly go from vintage to a modern look. Swap the Pepsi for an all black insert and you have a totally different look once more. Do the same with the bracelet, from a solid link Oyster to a jubilee to a leather or a nato strap and you completely change the look again. The GMT is very versatile in this respect and you really can have whatever look you wish!

This watch is in excellent overall condition – a beautiful unmarked fat case, stunning dial and hands and a tight bracelet makes it feel almost like new – certainly not 40 years old!

The watch comes in a Rolex suede service pouch, has been checked over by my watchmaker and is keeping excellent time.

Case & Caseback: Thick Rolex 1675 case in very nice condition with thick lugs. Rolex case back correctly stamped. Serial numbers clearly visible between the lugs. Comes on a faded ‘Pepsi’ insert

Bracelet: Excellent later Rolex 78360 solid link Oyster bracelet with almost no stretch.

Movement: Original hacking Rolex 1570 movement that is keeping good time.
