Rolex 1675 GMT Master For Sale 1972 – Full Collector Set

Here we have a Rolex 1675 GMT Master For Sale from 1972.

It’s not often I can say this is the best watch of that type I have ever seen in one of my listings. But I can say it hand on heart with this Rolex GMT Master and I doubt I’ll ever find a better looking example.

My personal watch for many years. Lots of other GMT came and went but this one always stayed…until a very good friend badgered me to death into letting him have it. Then last week following a large trade it came back. I’m still not sure I should be listing it here, but I do know if it doesn’t sell I’ll be a very happy man.

This Rolex 1675 is a truly stunning piece.

A 3.3m punched papers watch from 1972 with caseback also stamped ii 72.

A perfect dial with patina to die for – the plots and matching hands have turned a superb yellow and the famous fat font ‘pepsi’ blue and red insert has faded to the nicest shades I have seen.

Punched papers, rare original GMT Master booklet, ‘Your Rolex’ booklet, hang tags, original wallet and inner and outer boxes.

In all honesty I could have listed this watch with no text at all and just photographs – in person it is even better!

Rolex 1675 GMT Master For Sale 1972

Dial & Hands: Beautiful original GMT Master matte dial with beautiful deep yellow plots and matching original tritium Rolex hands. Amazing faded fat font pepsi Rolex insert.

Case & Caseback: Thick Rolex 1675 case in excellent condition with great lugs and crown guards. Rolex caseback correctly stamped with date and model number. Serial numbers clearly visible between the lugs.

Bracelet: Comes on a very nice Rolex 78360 oyster bracelet with correct Rolex 580 end pieces.

Movement: Original non-hacking Rolex 1570 movement keeping great time.
