Here we have a Rolex Submariner 16800 from 1983/1984.
It is an extremely full set containing both inner and outer boxes, original matching punched guarantee certificate, original matching hang tag, original chronometer tag, 1000ft Rolex anchor, “your rolex oyster” booklet and Submariner booklet.
Oh and the watch!
The matte dial 16800 has become something of a collector watch being the last of the matte dialed date submariners and very much seen as a transitional watch between the 1680 and 16610.
This is an excellent example with perfect dial, hands and insert with lovely creamy lume markers and tritium hands. The case is extremely thick and very clean, free from marks and dings. Also the bracelet is nice and tight with very little stretch.
A lovely set that can be worn while it appreciates!

Case & Caseback: 8.2m serial with all numbers clear between the lugs. Rolex caseback is correctly stamped 16800. Thick case with mark free bezel insert with matching tritium pip/pearl.
Bracelet: Very good correctly dated Rolex 93150 oyster bracelet with 593 end pieces.
Movement: Original Rolex 3035 movement keeping great time.
