Here we have another stunning 1966 Rolex Gilt Dial 1675 GMT Master with beautiful mirror gloss dial for sale.
Excellent gilt dial watches are becoming harder and harder to find with collectors holding on to their pristine examples and fewer and fewer coming to market.
This is a 1.3m serial watch dates to early 1966 and has a perfect glossy mirror gilt dial with contrasting creamy yellow original tritium plots, matching hands and correct small GMT hand.
The gilt gloss dial is completely mark free with no scratches, edge chips or lacquer cracking and a perfect mirror finish. The gilt printing is also a deep gold without any marking.
As you can see the watch has a fat case with beveled lugs in great condition. The look of the watch is rounded off with a fantastic faded pepsi bezel which really makes the dial ‘pop’.
The watch comes with it’s original slash card 60’s sports box and blank Rolex Guarantee papers (5.65) and also the Rolex UK Service Papers and International Guarantee that is still valid until September 2015, following a £665 service at Rolex UK in September 2013.
Comes on a correct 7836 folded link bracelet with 380 end pieces and only a little stretch.
Gilt dial collector sets are becoming the most sought after of all Rolex watches so I doubt it will be available for long!

Case & Caseback: Thick Rolex 1675 case in very nice condition with thick lugs. Rolex case back correctly stamped. Serial numbers clearly visible between the lugs. Comes on a faded ‘Pepsi’ insert.
Bracelet: Comes on a 7836 folded link bracelet with correct 380 end pieces and only a little stretch.
Movement: Original non-hacking Rolex date movement in excellent condition and keeping excellent time following Rolex service.
