Very Early 1956 Rolex Explorer 6610 Gilt Dial For Sale

Here we have a very early reference Rolex 6610 Explorer with typical early 186,xxx serial number dating it to the 2nd quarter of 1956.

The case back is stamped 6610 and ii.56 also to confirm a second quarter of 1956 production.

Early Swiss ‘OCC’ Officially Certified Chronometer closed track gilt dial with gilt hands and the very rare original big bubble second hand.

Comes on the tightest 6636 stretch rivet bracelet you will ever find and with the original superdome crystal!

The watch had a full service by Rolex UK last year, still with their service case back sticker on, and is in lovely condition with the all original 1030 movement obviously keeping good time.
